About
TVL - Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)
The SMAW strand under the Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) Track in the K-12 Curriculum prepares students for careers in welding, metal fabrication, and structural engineering. This program follows TESDA competency standards, allowing students to earn National Certifications (NC I & NC II), which qualify them for employment in the construction, shipbuilding, automotive, and manufacturing industries or for entrepreneurship in welding services.

Senior High School students who graduated with SMAW, may have the opportunity to get assessed and obtain a National Competency Certificate by TESDA, or continue with the college education.
